OpenEADL
OpenEADL is a collection of open source and open hardware applications that may be used to extend the functionality of powered-wheelchairs and Electronic Aids for Daily Living (EADL).
OpenEADL in Action
OpenEADL may be used to control a variety of appliances (e.g. computer, T.V., media player, etc…) directly from a powered-wheelchair. In this particular implementation, completed at the University of Toronto, we used OpenEADL to control the robotic toy Robosapien. The video demonstrates how OpenEADL may expand significantly on the capabilities of current EADLs.
