The Tecla Shield is a device that enables connection of powered wheelchairs and adapted switches to Bluetooth-enabled electronic devices. Together with the Tecla App for Android, the Tecla Shield may be used to access and control Android-powered devices. The Tecla Shield will also be available soon for the iPhone and iPad.
Any device manufacturer or software developer can make their products compatible with the Tecla Shield in order to make them accessible to people with mobility impairments.
